Pacific Supports and Mentoring stepped in at a time when I was incapable of caring for my son, they cared for him like he was their own. During this time I was able to have much needed respite and build my strength up to care again. The team then came on board daily to assist us in house and in the community, Charlie’s growth has been huge and his involvement and relationship with the team has flourished. I can’t speak highly enough of the team at Pacific Support and Mentoring. The support workers have had such a positive impact on my son Hunter’s life — not just in their attitude, but in the meaningful way they show up for him. Their kindness, respect, and genuine care have helped Hunter feel more included, confident, and independent.

As a single parent, it’s an incredible relief to know I have this kind of backup. I no longer feel like I’m doing it all alone — I now feel supported in a way that’s both compassionate and empowering.

Having strong, positive male influences in Hunter’s life has made a world of difference, and the way culture is respectfully acknowledged and included in his support has deepened that impact even further. I’ve seen real changes in Hunter — in his sense of belonging, his self-esteem, and his outlook.

My son has had instant connections with his lovely 2x carers that he has engaged with through pacific supports. My son enjoys being able to have an input with his support workers on the activities that they discuss to do and look forward to more in the future
